Business Smart Solutions (BSS), a provider of cheque processing and queue management systems solutions, has partnered with Reiner (Ernst Reiner GmbH & Co.KG), a market leader of stamps and OCR and scanner systems.

The partnership is aimed to improve the safety of cheque transactions and minimise cheque frauds in Australia. BSS will target financial services based organisations to utilise a safer method to deposit cheques, by using a self-service cheque deposit machine.

A self-service cheque deposit machine, customers will obtain a copy of the cheque for their peace of mind. This facility will also eliminate redundant and duplicated steps involved with cheque deposits.

The current cheque drop box method of depositing cheques is convenient; however customers have no proof once the cheque is submitted into the deposit box.
